What Are the New UAE Visa Rules?
The implementation of new UAE visas – referred to as the Advanced Visa System – sees changes to the Golden Visa scheme, long term residence permits, and tourist visas.

The visas can be used for single or multiple entries and can be renewed for a similar period of time if applied for before the first visa ends. There are now eleven different types of entry visas to fit a variety of diverse needs.

Whereas previously tourist visas were issued for a period of 30 days, the new standard version will allow a 60 day stay in the UAE. The New Multi Entry UAE Tourist Visa
These 5 year visas will allow you to stay in the UAE for up to 90 days continuously and can be extended for a similar period as long the total number of days you spend in the country doesn’t exceed 180 days each year.
To qualify for this visa, you will need to provide proof of having the equivalent of $4,000 in your bank account for the previous six months before you apply.
Friends and Relatives UAE Visa
This visa status does not require a sponsor or host and can be applied for if you have a friend or relative who is a resident of the UAE.
A Temporary Work UAE Visa
You can apply for a UAE visit visa if you want to work in the country for a temporary project. You will need to provide proof of your work contract, fitness to work, and a letter from your employer confirming your employment and what you will be doing.
UAE Visa for Exploring Job Opportunities
If you qualify as having a first, second, or third skill level as judged by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, then you can submit a visa application under this scheme.
This opportunity is also open to those who have graduated from the global top 500 universities with the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree or higher.
A Visa to Explore Business Opportunities in the UAE
You will be able to apply for an entry permit visa to explore potential business and investment opportunities in the country.
Medical Treatment Visa
This visa will be issued to those who are sponsored by a Medical Establishment in the UAE.
UAE Study Visa
You will need to be sponsored by an educational organization, training entity, or internship program to qualify for this entry and residency visa. You will need to prove your visa validity with a letter from your educational organization which details what you will be studying or training for and how long your course will last.
Visa for UAE Diplomatic Affairs
This UAE visa status will be for those who hold a diplomatic, UN, or Special Passport Number.
Emergency UAE Visa
These visas can be applied for in the case of medical or other emergencies that necessitate quick entry into the country.
GCC Residents Visa
For GCC residents and their family members.
